Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, welcomed a new grandchild by his daughter, Nana.
In a short video clip Nana Kadi, he is seen cuddling the newborn with many followers sending congratulatory messages to the family.
The PDP chieftain and former president candidate was visibly overjoyed while Nana the excited new mum joyfully coordinated affairs. Many Nigerians took to social media to praise Atiku for being a present and supportive father and grandfather.
The video adds a personal touch to Atiku’s public image as he remains active on the national political scene.
