Actress Ruth Kadiri has advised Priscilla Ojo, daughter of her colleague, Iyabo Ojo on the need to keep her marriage private and away from social media.
She said that mischief makers would seek to cause a division between her and her Tanzanian husband, Juma Jux and she must resist it.
According to Ruth, “As a public figure, one thing I’ve learned the hard way is this, keep my marriage💍💍 as private as possible.
“The moment people know too much, they start to feel entitled to your story. And trust me, you will hear a lot online, things that can shake you, hurt you, even confuse you.
“Some will say he’s cheating while others will say she’s disrespectful. Most of them don’t know you. They just want to see the drama that may unfold. I’ve seen beautiful homes crash just because of one blog post or one comment that wasn’t even true.
“Protect your peace. Guard your home. Share love, not every detail. Let the world see the glow, not the process. Because the more people know, the more they want to destroy it. Privacy is power and silence is safety. ~
