The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has signed a memorandum of understanding MoU with an international company to replicate the Dubai lifestyle in the nation’s capital.
He shared the update on his official X handle after the signing ceremony on Wednesday when he disclosed the theme and scope of the project in addition to the agreement reached between himself and the company.
Wike accompanied his update with photos from the meeting with the foreign contractors.
He said in his statement that the ‘The City Walk Project’ will be handled by the MAG International Links Ltd, a private investor. he also promised that his team of experts will ensure the project is delivered.
According to Nyesom Wike, the project will be a mixture of residential, hospitality, institutional and healthcare facilities. This will be a replica of the famous ‘City Walk Dubai’.
The Minister equally disclosed that the MoU signed with the company will ensure that if the deadline and the agreement was not duly followed, the land will be revoked and project dismantled.

“Yesterday, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MAG International Links Ltd, a private investor, for the development of City Walk Abuja.
“The City Walk Abuja project, a private initiative, is a replica of City Walk Dubai.
“It will be a mix of residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, institutional, and healthcare facilities.
“The MoU is to ensure that the company delivers the project based on agreed work plans and timelines, such that if the company does not comply within the outlined specification and agreed timeline, we have the right to revoke the land.“
