Popular American TV show host, Tony Perkins, has disclosed that he refused to allow Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, to come on his platform and address the Christian genocide allegation.
Speaking via a video making the rounds on social media, Perkins claimed that he was approached by the First Lady to discuss religious freedom issues in the country, but he declined the request.
He spoke while hosting Chris Smith, a US lawmaker, during Washington Watch.
Perkins accused the President Bola Tinubu government of moving to cover up the k!lling of innocent Nigerian Christians.
According to him, Remi Tinubu came to the studio intending to “come on the programme to talk about religious freedom, and I said, ‘I’m not gonna meet with them’”
The broadcaster vowed that he would never “give them a platform to cover up what they’re doing in Nigeria.”
