‘Why I Dropped My Father’s Name after Marrying Mr Eazi’ – Temi Otedola (video)

Temi Otedola, daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, has revealed that she decided to change her name after marrying singer Tosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi.

Soon after the wedding, Temi sparked public reaction for dropping her father’s name, ‘Otedola’, after her marriage to the Nigerian superstar.

In an interview with the BBC, Temi said she is currently married, and the obvious thing is to take her husband’s name.

Speaking about their relationship, the thespian added that moving in silence allowed her to build the story she wanted and share it when she was ready.

She said, “I’m now a married woman, the obvious thing for me is to take my husband’s name. But it’s my personal choice. I also respect a woman’s ability to choose.

“Moving in silence allows you to build the story you want and share it when and how you’re ready”.
