Former chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Sam Amadi, has commended the lifestyle and public conduct of Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu.
The remarks come amid President Bola Tinubu’s official visit to the United Kingdom, alongside his wife and other government officials, which is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and attracting foreign investment to Nigeria.

Amadi, in a post via 𝕏, said the First Lady has demonstrated commendable poise and dignity in her appearance since assuming office.
According to him, Tinubu’s wife has a good sense of dressing and is well-dignified, noting that other aspects of her public life remain open to debate.
He, however, referenced Remi’s controversial comments during the 2023 election period, describing them as a “bad spot,” but added that aside from that, her public bearing has been satisfactory.
He wrote: “The thing about the First Lady I like is that she dresses well and dignified. Other things are arguable. But her poise and public bearing since coming to the office have been commendable.
“Of course, the bad spot remains the hate speech during the 2023 election. Beside that, she has been fine.”
