President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, a politician, lawyer, and businessman, as he turned 65 on December 21.
A member of the Idimuje Ugboko rural community, Prince Nwoko represents the Delta North Senatorial District in the Senate.
He began his political career as a member of the House of Representatives (1999ā2003), representing the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, where he worked to improve education, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.
President Tinubu commended Senator Nwoko for his dedication to transformative causes, highlighting his advocacy for malaria eradication, youth empowerment, and environmental sustainability.
The President acknowledged Prince Nwoko’s impactful representation in the Senate and his sponsorship of several bills focused on national development, security, education, and economic reform, including: the National Malaria Eradication and Prevention Bill; the Climate Change and Renewable Energy Development Bill; the Universal Basic Education Reform Bill, and the Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Bill.
Tinubu joined the Ned Nwoko family, friends, and members of the National Assembly in celebrating the Senator on this milestone and wishes him good health and strength as he continues to serve the people of Delta North and the nation.
