Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho has demanded a N500 million compensation from the Department of State Services for the damages done to his residence during Thursday’s raid.
In a letter filed by his lawyer, Chief Yomi Alliyu (SAN) and addressed to the Federal Government, the activist also demanded a public apology for what he describes as a violation of his fundamental human rights during the attack.
In addition, Igboho requests a probe into the action of the security operatives that raided his home.
His counsel alleges that those arrested in his house are being tortured to make incriminating statements about the Yoruba freedom fight.
Meanwhile Igboho has surfaced in a video dancing to Yoruba music, insisting that he is enjoying himself at home.
