Omoyele Sowore, a Nigerian activist and the African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, has reacted after viewing a huge crowd that demonstrated against him and labeled him a fake activist.
He addressed the situation in a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday.

The demonstration took place in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where protesters accused Sowore of being a fake activist and a manipulator.
Photos from the protest circulated online, showing the crowd with various signs making these allegations.
In his response, Sowore noted that this was the second protest targeting him within a week, claiming that such demonstrations are being staged to damage his reputation.
Despite the backlash, Sowore declared that he remains steadfast and undisturbed by the attacks.
