Popular Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has posted an update of himself in handcuffs as police officers took him to his home on a security operation.
The son of the world famous Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, on Friday, shared the footage as the officers looked through documents in his house.
Kuti captioned the video on his Twitter page, “OGA OFFICERS, ABEG WETIN UNA DEY LOOKU FOR…ALUTA CONTINUA.”
On the 13th of May 2023, Seun was seen in a video that also went viral as he assaulted a policeman on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State.
Kuti was arrested and detained on Monday after he turned himself in to the police. He was subsequently arraigned on Tuesday before the Yaba Chief Magistrate’s Court for allegedly assaulting a policeman in uniform.
