Service has resumed at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke Isegun, in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, days after terrorists invaded the church during an evening service, k!lling at least 3 worshippers and abducting 38 members, including women and children.
The attack, carried out by ten armed men on November 18, left the rural community devastated after gunshots rang through the church, leaving the pastor and 2 others d3ad before the assailants whisked away dozens of congregants.

In a viral video from Sunday’s service held on November 23, the officiating minister urged members not to live in fear despite the horrors they witnessed.
The preacher encouraged worshippers to remain steadfast in their faith, assuring them that the promise of eternal life stands firm for believers who d!e in the name of Christ.
He said, “As a Christian, you must not fear death. Jesus has promised you eternal life. He has promised eternal life to us.
“Don’t let us fear death. Anywhere death comes to you, make sure you do not curse Jesus. If you don’t curse Jesus, the promise is for you that Jesus will take you to a place of peace. This world will end but the life Jesus has promised us has no end. It is forever. He said we should not allow our hearts to be troubled.
“I want you to take comfort in knowing that they (our fellow worshippers) d!ed at the feet of Jesus. They d!ed a righteous d3ath. Anyone who is k!lled for the gospel of Jesus Christ d!es as a witness for Christ.
And it is in the bible that God will avenge the deaths of the witnesses for Christ. Their blood will cry for justice. Those evil people (terrorists), watch out, God’s judgment will come upon them. The bible tells us that d3ath is the path to life.”
The video also shows a police van and officers stationed outside the church to prevent any further attacks.
