The former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani has, like many Nigerians, reacted to the news of the graduation of Governor El-Rufai’s son from a London university.
The civil rights activist and governorship aspirant promised to ensure that his daughter to studies at the state university if he is elected governor of Kaduna state in 2023.
Contesting on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Sani, made the remark after the photos of the incumbent governor of the state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai celebrating his son’s graduation surfaced on social media.
Governor El-Rufai and his wife, Barrister Asiya Muhammad were in London for the graduation ceremony of their son, Ahmad El-Rufai, at a university in England on Thursday, 28 April.
The photos had gone viral, causing reactions from members of the public.
In his reaction, Senator Shehu Sani@ShehuSani tweeted that “If I become the Governor of Kaduna State, my Daughter will be in Kaduna State University; It’s not your fault if you doubt or disbelieve me sha; una no de believe anything nowadays.“
