Media personality and journalist, Reuben Abati, has slammed officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority LASTMA for blocking some roads in the state because President Tinubu is in the state.
On Tuesday, May 27, President Tinubu arrived Lagos for the 50th ECOWAS anniversary as well as to commission some projects in the state. The President is also expected to celebrate the Muslim festival here in Lagos.

To ensure free flow of traffic for the presidential motorcade, some roads in the state were blocked, leading to serious traffic in many parts of the state.
Abati who regularly plies one of the roads that was blocked, expressed his frustration on air this morning. He argued that residents should not be left stranded because the President is in town.
