Videos just surfaced of the recently arrested SSA to the Ogun State Governor, Abidemi Rufai, engaging in a ‘rain of dollars’ reminiscent of most Lekki Big Boys at parties.
Rufai was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in New York, United States for defrauding scores of people of $650 million (N312 billion).
The sums for which he was arrested are said to be part of unemployment benefit funds meant for US residents during the Covid9 pandemic in 2020.
Rufai is reported to have been apprehended in New York on Friday when he attempted to flee the US.
Nigerians have reacted to videos of him spraying bundles of dollar bills with his friends at one of their signature parties.
