11 northern governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to back a southerner for the party’s presidential ticket.
Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa has also withdrawn from the presidential race.
This comes as the meeting of the party’s Governors and all aspirants is in full swing.
