Popular Fulani Leader Kidnapped in Oyo Community

A popular Fulani leader, Alhaji Usmanu Sule also known as Jamhuro Lamba has been kidnapped in Lalate, Ibarapa Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Reports say he was kidnapped when he went visiting his relatives in the community. A resident said that, “The gunmen stormed the village and took him away. He was the only one on ground when they struck. He was with some women and children.”

Another resident of Lamba in Kwara State, Abubakar Malam Boggoi added that Jamhuro Usmanu Sule was the head of all Jamhuro in Kwara.

According to him, the popular Fulani leader was given the title of Jamhuro because he has lived in Yoruba land for a very long time.
