Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, (LP) has hailed newlyweds who joined the move of Nigerian youths to take back the country on Saturday in Abuja.
The yet-to-be-identified couple joined supporters who converged on the Unity Fountain to march around Abuja city gate.
The young couple whose special day coincides with the day of the rally were seen in their wedding gowns marching with other Obidients who put the in front of the crowd.
Reacting to the development, Obi in a statement on Saturday appreciated the coupl, and wished their union a blissful and happy marriage.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Peter Obi said, “Salute and congratulations to this newly wedded couple in Abuja, whose special day coincided with the Obidient Family March in Abuja; and they marched too! Wishing you both a blissful and happy married life and children who will grow up in a united, secure and productive Nigeria. -PO”
