The Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Churches, Paul Adefarasin, has reacted to an allegation of brandishing a pistol at a content creator.
A video made the rounds on Friday, June 6, showing the clergyman asking a content creator to stop filming his car.

The clergyman was driving a Range Rover when he wound down his window and instructed the content creator to stop filming his vehicle.
Some social media users zoomed in and noticed he held an item in his right hand claiming it was a gun and that he brandished it to scare the content creator.
However, in a statement released on his page on Saturday evening, Adefarasin said the item in his hand was not a gun and that he never brandished a firearm at the content creator.
The statement:
“Dear Family, trusting that this meets you well, winning and on top of the tests of life.
You might be aware of a video which has been circulating on social media showing me in what some have misunderstood as brandishing a firearm.
I want to assure you of this — that, that was certainly not a firearm, and at no point did I point such at anyone.
We understand the concern that this accusation may have caused, and we will speak briefly to this mischief during the 9:00 am service tomorrow.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

As promised, during Sunday service, the cleric said he had no firearm, has no license for one and did not point any at the “aggressive content creator.” He added that the story was concocted by click-baiters desperate to make money.
