Paystack co-founder, Ezra Olubi’s former polycule partner, Max Obae, has publicly commended the company in reaction to the news of Olubiās dismissal over allegations of s*xual misconduct.
Reacting to a report announcing Olubiās termination, Max described the decision as āa sign of a mature company, and a positive act for the start-up industry in Africa.ā

Max was previously in a three-way romantic relationship with Ezra and her lesb!an partner, a dynamic the trio openly acknowledged in past social media posts.
In a separate post, Max also revealed he had completed repayment of a $55,000 loan previously owed to Olubi.
Sharing a screenshot of a bank confirmation email, he wrote: āThe final transfer of $5k has now been delivered to Ezra, and with this delivery the total $55k loan has now been transferred back to him. Thatās that.ā

The reactions follow weeks of online uproar after Ezraās old disturbing tweets resurfaced, prompting Paystack to suspend him and announce an investigation.
Olubi later claimed he was fired before the process was concluded and without being given a chance to defend himself.
