An old video shared by Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, on Facebook has resurfaced where he issued a chilling prophecy concerning the future of Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The footage contained warnings on both political unrest within the Nigerian Senate and serious health challenges that could impact Akpabio’s political career.
Primate Ayodele’s message painted a turbulent picture of the Senate’s internal dynamics. “I see another drama in the Senate, our senators they will fight, they will come together and want to impeach you Akpabio, they will fight Akpabio,” he declared, suggesting that factions within the Senate may unite against Akpabio, potentially seeking his removal from office.
This prophecy hints at brewing conflicts and power struggles that could destabilize the legislative leadership in the near future.
Beyond the political warning, Primate Ayodele expressed concern about Akpabio’s health, stating that he had previously advised the Senate President to take better care of himself. “When I tell Akpabio watch your health, Akpabio said this man hate me,” the cleric recounted, revealing a strained interaction between the two.
Undeterred, Primate Ayodele reiterated his caution, emphasizing that Akpabio’s health issues might hinder his ability to secure a second term as Senate President. “Akpabio still watch your health, your health might denial you of your second term, mark my word and let wait till then,” he warned.

Godswill Akpabio, a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, has been serving as Senate President since June 2023, enjoying strong backing from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
