Lawyers of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra have been sighted in a trending video praying to God and thanking HIM for giving them victory at the Appeal Court.
The IPOB leader was on Thursday discharged and acquitted by the Appeal Court sitting in Abuja.
Lead Counsels, Mike Ozekhome SAN, Ifeanyi Ejiofor and Kanu’s other lawyers were seen going on their knees praising, dancing and rejoicing as they exited the court premises after the ruling.
The Court had held that the Federal Government breached all local and international laws in the forceful rendition of Kanu to Nigeria.
The judge therefore averred that the terrorism charges against him were incompetent and unlawful.
Across Igboland, jubilation resonated with dancing, singing and gunshots.
