Activist politician, Omoyele Sowore, Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been released from Kuje Prison after perfecting their bail conditions.
Kanuās brother, Prince Emmanuel was also released from the prison on Monday, alongside others arrested for participating in the #FreeeNnamdiKanuNow protest in Abuja.
Sowore, who led the protests, was subsequently arrested by the Nigeria Police Force when he visited the Federal High Court in Abuja for Nnamdi Kanuās trial.
They were arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Kuje Area Council, which eventually granted them bail on Friday.
In a video published by SaharaReporters on Monday, Sowore, Ejimakor, Prince Emmanuel and the others were seen leaving the prison premises with their belongings while singing a solidarity song.
Ejimakor earlier collapsed and was rushed to the Kuje Prison clinic for medical attention.
