A section of Nigerians fear that some workers said to be employees of the recently inaugurated Dangote Refinery may lose their jobs.
This comes after some of the technicians revealed in a viral video that contrary to general belief and media reports, the refinery is not yet fully built.
The multi-billion naira investment was inaugurated in May 2023 and scheduled to commence operation in June.
The workers who showed off their uniforms and ongoing activities in the place said the reports that the refinery has been completed is a lie.
The revelation of the workers has generated mixed reactions online with many saying the workers have indirectly sacked themselves.
