The Director-General of the World Trade Organization and former Nigerian finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has shared a video of herself dancing with local women during a Christmas visit to her husbandās hometown in Abia State.
The video shows Okonjo-Iweala dancing alongside members of the Umu Ada Association and Umu Adukwu women in the village of Umuda Isingwu Umuahia, Abia State, after returning home for the Christmas celebrations.

She posted the video on X (formerly Twitter), describing the moment as a festive reunion with the community.

The clip has since drawn positive reactions online, with many users praising the WTO chief for reconnecting with her roots and celebrating the season with members of her in-laws’ local community.
Originally from Ogwashi Ukwu in Delta State where she is the first daughter of the late monarch, Prof Chukuka Okonjo, Ngozi ensures she leaves an impact with every visit to her husband’s village.
She used the occasion of the Christmas visit to request that Governor Alex Otti light up the beautiful roads he has constructed.
