Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has playfully declined a female fan’s request to follow her on Instagram.
In a video seen on Instagram, the female fan walked up to him saying, “I need you to follow me on Instagram.”
In response, Davido said, “Sorry, my wife will kill me.”
When the fan insisted, saying, “No, she’s not,” he replied, “Haha no, I only follow my wife. I can’t follow anyone else.”
The short exchange has since gone viral, with fans reacting to Davido’s loyalty to his wife, Chioma.
Davido and Chioma Avril Rowland had their traditional wedding last year in a grand, star-studded ceremony held in Lagos.
Their white wedding is set to take place this August 2025 in Miami, Florida.
The couple is blessed with a set of twins, following the loss of their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who drowned in a swimming pool incident in October 2020.
