Popular Yoruba movie actress Bimbo Akinsanya has revealed some of the things that happened between her and her parents when she wanted to become an actress, while also stating what her mom said to her during a meeting she had with her parent.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Kunleafod TV during an interview, she explained that her mom said she will never find a man to marry if she disobeys her orders to become an actress.
In her statement, she said, “When I noticed that my mom and my dad were not happy with my decision to become an actress, I decided to have a meeting with them so that I can explain what my plans are.
“My mom was so angry when I started explaining to them, and she insisted that she will never allow me to become an actress. My mom said I will never find a man to marry if I disobey her to become an actress. She said that some actresses are prostitutes, but my dad told her to allow me to follow my heart.
“Unfortunately, my dad died before I became popular, but he used to encourage me when he was alive. My mom later allowed me to become an actress after the death of my dad, and she is the one who is benefiting from my success now.”
