There was mild drama at a high profile event over the weekend when Nigerian lawyer cum activist, Deji Adeyanju, put up a rejection to show solidarity with the president.
The occasion was the lavish 50th birthday celebration for oil and gas Delta billionaire, Matthew Tonlagha.
A video making the rounds online shows the moment Adeyanju, a strong critic of President Bola Tinubuās administration, vehemently refused to accept thr cap with the Bola Tinubu insignia.
Fashion entrepreneur, Seyi Vodi, who was rocking one of the caps with the insignia, handed one to Deji while they exchanged pleasantries, but he quickly rejected it and turned away.
