Kogi State governorship aspirant, Dino Melaye has finally reacted hours after Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state said he does not have what it takes to be Governor of Kogi state.
Former senator Dino Melaye said, “Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, stay on your lane because I have a speciality in taming lions. I don’t and I have never sought your support regarding my gubernatorial ambition.”
Speaking further, former senator Dino Melaye said, “Governor Nyesom Wike is taking a swipe at me but has forgotten that he believed my gubernatorial aspiration in 2019.”
Melaye added that, “as the governor of Rivers state, all that Nyesom Wike achieved was to buy precious media time to vent his spleen on fellow Nigerians who are more qualified than him to be Governors.”
The former Senator said that “I am using this moment to remind Nyesom Wike that Kogi state is not Rivers and the people of Kogi State would not worship any foreign God. Nyesom Wike should also understand that power belongs to God and he gives it to whoever he wants.”
He advised the Rivers State Governor not to speak after her has drank alcohol or not to drink alcohol after speaking and warned that the next time he takes a swipe at him, he will open his “can of warms and maggots.”
