Hope Uzodimma
A video has emerged online, in which the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma mistakenly referred to Bola Tinubu as the former President and nearly prayed for the repose of his soul.
This happened during the Constitution Review Zonal Public Hearings in Owerri, an event, which held on Saturday, July 19, and brought together delegates from Imo and Abia states to discuss constitutional reforms.
However, Uzodimma’s solemn prayer took an unexpected turn when he made a slip of the tongue that has since triggered reactions online.
Uzodinma, while offering prayers for the demise of former President Muhammadu Buhari, said, “May the soul of former President Bola…” before pausing briefly.
He then continued, “Former President Muhammadu Buhari, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.”
Recall that former President Muhammadu Buhari d!ed in London after a prolonged illness and was buried in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
