Popular Yoruba film actress, Ronke Oshodi-Oke has revealed the origin of her name.
She said that many people assumed it was a result of her physical appearance.

The actress said in an interview video on Oyinmomo TV’s official YouTube channel that many people assumed her name, Oshodi-Oke, came from her body type, but that she was extremely slender when she was given the name in the film industry.
She responded, “My fame has nothing to do with my body structure because I was very slim when I joined the movie industry.”
When asked if her physical attributes played a role in her career breakthrough. “Many people believed that my large chest and curves were the reason I was given the name Oshodi-Oke. One of my films that began and ended in Oshodi-Oke is where I got the name.”
