A Nigerian lady identified as Stephanie Marioo has taken to her Twitter account to reveal why she quit her job.
According to Marioo, she handed in her resignation after her boss requested to buy her undie so he can be sniffing it.
Speaking from the microblogging platform, the lady disclosed that her boss had made several advances at her in the office.
He also tried numerous times to touch her at any opportunity but she resisted.
According to Marioo, things came to a head when the boss requested to purchase her underwear so he can be sniffing it.
She likened the act to that of a ritualist adding that she hopes that others facing the same pressure would find their voice or find a way out.
According to StephanieĀ Mario@StephMarioo I quit my job cause my boss couldnāt keep his hands to himself, it started out with ā Ahh you look good today can I get a hugā Iām like No ! To him trying to touch me at every opportunity, then one day he asked to buy my underwear cause he wants to be sniffing it???
Iām like Ahn Ritualist behavior! I said No ! I still donāt understand why some men donāt understand boundaries and know that some lines canāt be crossed! For every young woman going through any form of sexual harassment at work, I hope you find a a way out itās not a good thing.

šš¦šÆ āššŖš¢š©š¬š±@SirCamelot22Ā·Replying to @StephMarioo Harassment is condemned, and men should stop it. But let’s be honest: what do 70% of ladies wear to work? Not you, but what about others? Ppl have legalized wearing tight (underwear) to work or sch..And u don’t want harassment? It ain’t an excuse for men but it contributes.
Daniel Regha@DanielRegha Replying to @StephMarioo Sexual harassment in working environments is one issue that needs to be seriously addressed cos a lot of people, especially women are victims. Anyone being harassed should report the perpetrator either to the HR or appropriate authorities & get loud about it so others can learn
Comrade Ib@1stRahemĀ· Replying to @DanielRegha and @StephMarioo What if it’s coming from the HR or even the MD as the case may be???
Obi Chukwuma Joseph@JosephFrancisssĀ· Then just end ur relationship with the job… Drop ur resignation letter and move. Go home in a sane mind. A better job will come. Once there’s life, Hope is abundant.
