At Ihotu Park, kidnappers trying to board a vehicle to Makurdi got the shock of their lives when a girl they previously abducted — and released after collecting ransom — spotted them using the same bag they stole from her!
She raised the alarm, grabbing one suspect inside the vehicle, while two others ran but were quickly caught. A Ghana-must-go bag found in the vehicle contained a whopping ₦11 million — counted on the spot!
As a mob prepared to set them ablaze, the park manager alerted the military, and soldiers and police rescued them just in time.
The brave girl followed them to the station, where another woman also identified them as her kidnappers!
Even the Governor got involved, ordering their transfer to Makurdi. The case has now taken a major turn!
