Justina Azuka of Onitsha North 1, Anambra State has become the first candidate to win an election under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a statement issued shortly after the polls, the Justina Azuka Campaign Organization expressed profound gratitude to the constituents for their overwhelming support, patience, and peaceful conduct during the election.
Her campaign organization has hailed the people of Onitsha North 1 for writing their names in the sands of time with her election.
“Your remarkable turnout and commitment to democracy reflect the resilient spirit of our people,” the statement read.
The organization also extended a special appreciation to the former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, whose inspiration and support were described as instrumental in the campaign’s success.
Regardless of the political outcome, the campaign organization emphasized its appreciation for the trust and encouragement shown by the electorate, noting that the election has once again demonstrated that democracy is alive and thriving in Onitsha North 1.
