Unconfirmed reports say there is an ongoing coup in Congo Brazzaville meant to topple President Nguesso.

79 year old President Nguesso who has been in power for a combined 39 years is reported to be in the US at the moment.

The military is said to be taking over key facilities in the country’s capital. According to unverified sources, the coup was led by the commander of the presidential guard.
