The independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Akwa Ibom has been set ablaze.
Reports say that 345 ballot boxes, 135 voting cubicles, megaphones, water tanks and office furniture were destroyed by the inferno.
The information is contained in a statement released on Sunday, 2nd of May, 2021.
INEC reports also that security guard on duty escaped unhurt.
