JUST IN ! Gunmen Kidnap Niger State Commissioner (photos)

Gunmen suspected t be bandits have kidnapped the Niger State Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Sani Idris.

The information was made available to newsmen by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Ibrahim Matane on Monday in Minna, the State Capital.

The Commissioner was kidnapped at about 1:00am at his hometown, Baban Tunga in Tafa Local Government Area of the State.

Alhaji Matane added that security operatives are already on the trail of the kidnappers saying the captive should be rescued soon.

According to him, “Security agencies are however, already trailing the bandits with a view to apprehending them,” The Chief Press Secretary to the State Government added.
