The political rivalry between Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and his predecessor, Gbenga Daniel, has deepened following the sealing of the former governor’s Sagamu residence and luxury hotel by the state government.
Officials from the Sagamu Zonal Planning Office, on Monday, stormed Gbenga Daniel’s Asoludero Court mansion and nearby Conference Hotel, removing earlier contravention and quit notices pasted on Friday and replacing them with fresh sealing and demolition notices.

According to The People’s Gazette, eyewitnesses revealed that the officials, who arrived in government-branded vehicles, did not notify occupants before pasting the new notices.
They reportedly left in a hurry after the action.
