Popular Nollywood actress and movie producer, Funke Akindele also known as Jenifa has been officially unveiled as the 2023 running mate to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate.
Her candidacy was confirmed on Tuesday by the governorship candidate of the party Dr. Olajide Adediran aka Jandor.
To clinch the ticket, Akindele defeated other aspirants including former Governorship aspirant Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour; former Senatorial candidate for Lagos East, Yeye Shobajo, another governorship aspirant, David Kolawole Vaughan known as Dakova and Engr. Teslim Balogun.
