JUST IN ! Emefiele Granted Bail After 6 Weeks in DSS Detention

The embattled Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele has been granted bail in the sum of N20 million.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Fderal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, granted the bail in a ruling on Tuesday.

After hearing the plea from both the plaintiff and defendant, the presiding judge said the charges against Emefiele are bailable.
