Actress and politician, Funke Akindele held her 45th birthday party on Wednesday and featured gospel singer, Tope Alabi.
Conspicuously absent was her estranged husband and music producer, JJC Skillz.
JJC surprised Funke and fans when he posted a heartwarming birthday wish for her, addressing her as “my darling.”
Celebrating the mother of his twin boys in a post on social media, JJC Skillz posted a video clip containing a combination of short videos and pictures.
The entertainer captioned the post with: “Happy birthday my darling Mama Ibeji, Funke Akindele, I pray our children to embody the goodness of God and be a blessing to generations. Today is your day! celebrate and live to the fullest. Long life and prosperity.”
Acknowledging the post, Funke Akindele wrote: “Thank you so much baba ibeji. I appreciate it o. Amen to your prayers”
In a video trending on social media however, friends and family members turned up to celebrate the actress but JJC Skillz was absent.
In the video, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate in Lagos State could be seen trying to hold back her emotions as popular Nigerian gospel singer, Tope Alabi serenaded her and other guests at the birthday celebration.
Tope is also seen making prophetic declarations and showering praises on the 45-year-old actress.
