Former Minister of Aviation and hitherto sworn loyalist of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Femi Fani-Kayode has finally officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
FFK as he is better known as was at the presidential villa this afternoon to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.
He was accompanied by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.
Fani-Kayode said he was led by the Spirit of God in his decision and that he joined the APC to contribute to the unity of Nigeria.
He added that he was against anything that would cause the disintegration of the country and revealed he was instrumental to the defection of three PDP Governors to the APC.
According to him, the Governors he influenced were Dave Umahi of Ebony State, Ben Ayade of Cross River State and Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State.
