Since the beginning of the second half of 2023, the Lagos State Transport Management Authority (LASTMA) began to implement strict transport rules to vehicle owners to drivers plying the metropolis.
The The General Manager of LASTMA Mr Bolaji Oreagba said the development is aimed at bringing sanity to commuting in the city.
Offences include dropping passengers on bridges, taking the one-way drive, beating traffic lights among others.
If you have a Lagos State registration number plate, you may not know when you have been issued a fine. It is therefore advisable to check the LASTMA portal regularly as your vehicle may be impounded if your fine is not paid on time.
To access the portal, login to the LASG VIS to check if you have been issued a fine that you are not aware of. A lot of vehicles are being impounded daily leaving motorist confused.
Login to https://payvis.ng and input your plate number.
