A physically challenged woman, Ifeyinwa Nasir Okoye has narrated how her fiancé abandoned her on her wedding day just because she was physically challenged.
Okoye said she was shocked as the man led her on till the day of her wedding and guests including family and friends were all gathered for the celebration.
According to her, she found herself alone, all dressed up but her would-be husband was nowhere to be found.
Ifeyinwa is now a Senior Magistrate in Anambra. She told BBC Pidgin that her father was her driving force
Okoye who is a senior magistrate in Anambra state opened up on her ordeal in an interview with BBC pidgin.
She said her man fled on her wedding day because of her physical condition. He told people that he realised that he would not be able to cope with her physical condition after they tie the knot.
The mother of 3 said she had always wanted to be a lawyer so she could be a voice to those who were physically challenged and others.
