A Lagos tenant has described how he nearly escaped death in a house he rented for millions of naira in the highbrow Lekki area of Lagos.
The incident happened after the POP ceiling in his Lekki apartment suddenly crumbled, leaving him with bruises.
The man, who posted a video of the incident, said he was setting up his camera to record content when he heard a loud crack — only for the entire POP to collapse on him.
According to him, if he had been asleep at the time, the heavy impact would have ended his life.
