Unknown gunmen are reported to have kidnapped the Taraba House of Assembly member representing Nguroje Constituency, Barrister Bashir Mohammed.
Mohammed is also the Chairman, House Committee on information.
Reports say the kidnappers stormed his residence near Dr Jalo Eid prayer ground at about 1:40am this morning, 9th of December.
The frightening operation took the better part of 3 hours with no effort by security agents to apprehend the invaders.
As at the time of this report, no formal statement has been received from state police command or the Public Relations Officer, David Misal.
