Governor Hyacinth Alia, has expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for providing personnel and logistics support to his State.
While welcoming a new set of security personnel deployed to the state, the Governor expressed satisfaction with the level of support he is receiving from the President and charged the new personnel to put in their best to ensure that complete peace is restored in the state, especially considering its position as the food basket of the nation.

According to the statement by the Technical Adviser on Media, Publicity and Strategic Communication Solomon Iorpev, Governor Alia also thanked the heads of security agencies in the state and called on them to continue their good work, citing the recent rescue of the Utonkon 9 children as an example.
The Governor urged them to maintain the same spirit until the state is rid of all forms of insecurity.
He tasked the operatives to ensure adequate security for the workers contracted to construct the Nyihemba-Abande road, which is meant to ease movement and reduce response time in instances of distress calls.
Governor Alia, who stated that democracy remains the bedrock of any meaningful development, charged the officers to deploy adequate security for the safe conduct of the upcoming APC congresses.
He restated his commitment to good governance and encouraged all Benue sons and daughters to stand by him so that he could lead Benue out of the woods of underdevelopment.
