The former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has reacted after he arrived Accra, Ghana on Monday.
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan stated on his verified Facebook page on Monday; “I arrived in Accra, Ghana today, ahead of Wednesday’s #GEJDemocracyDialogue.”

The former President stated further; “This year’s dialogue, themed “Why Democracies Die”, is hosted by the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation in collaboration with the Government of Ghana.”
He added; “It will provide participants an opportunity to reflect on the progress, challenges, and prospects of decades of democratic governance in our sub-region.”

He said; “I am hopeful that the deliberations and outcomes from this event will contribute meaningfully to deepening democracy in our region, and translate into greater peace, security, and good governance.”
