Social media personality, Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, has apologised to the public following his in-flight clash with comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, better known as Mr Jollof, which caused delays on a United Nigeria Airlines flight.
The altercation happened on a flight from Asaba to Lagos, where both men were captured on video engaging in a physical confrontation as passengers attempted to separate them.
Apologising in a video posted on Instagram on Tuesday, VeryDarkMan said he takes full responsibility for the disruption, admitting the incident was unnecessary.
“I would really like to apologise for what happened yesterday on the United Nigerian Airlines. What happened yesterday was not supposed to happen, and I will take full responsibility for it.”
He then assured Nigerians that such behaviour would not occur in public spaces again.
