Nigerians have reacted to the viral video of Ugandan paratroopers who missed their targets and crash-landed on spectators and toilets during the countryās independence celebration.
The drills were meant to feature multirole fighter jets, paratroopers, and commandos as they demonstrate the country’s military might.

Unfortunately, it became a national embarrassment for President Museveni as the Military choppers dropped paratroopers at intervals, landing on the wrong targets in the stadium pitch.
One serviceman who was parachuting down, appeared to be perfectly placed to land on the pitch but suddenly folded and tugged the soldier, causing him to lose his grip on it.
Another soldier who was mid-air also lost control of his parachute, and crash-landed on mobile toilets in the stadium.
The unfortunate incident sparked reactions from many Nigerians on social media as they recalled the same scenario during a similar drill ahead of Nigeria’s 62nd independence celebration.
