Controversial Arise News anchor, Rufai Oseni has said the Inspector General of Police lacks the courage to reduce the security detail assigned to Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, despite Wole Soyinkaās criticism.
While speaking at a public forum on Tuesday, December 9, Nobel laureate, Soyinka condemned the āābattalion” of security men attached to serve Seyi Tinubu.
He recounted an experience he had in which he saw the plenty security agents attached to Seyi and how the road was even closed for Seyi to pass before him and other motorists were allowed to ply a road.
The Arise TV anchors were on set this morning discussing Soyinka’s statement. In his submission, Rufai argued that nobody, not even the IGP, has the power to reduce the security details of Seyi.
According to him: āāThem nor born anybody to remove the police protection of Seyi Tinubu”
His colleague, Reuben bati responded āāNot even the Inspector General of Police?”
